What do you enjoy most about teaching? The kids! They make each day fun, challenging, and rewarding.
What do you find the most challenging about teaching? Finding the time to do everything you want to do. Each year seems to go faster!
Best tip for new teachers: Enjoy every year and every student! Your students will go on to do amazing things and it is so rewarding to see.
Best tip for career teachers: Get to know your students...REALLY get to know them. Then take the time to share with their families all the positive things that they do. Teachers can put that positivity out into the world every day.
Favorite piece of advice for students: Never stop learning, always be kind, and have fun!
What being a Gold Star Teacher means to you: I'm so honored. I love what I do! I love being part of the Bosco Catholic School System. I love that my own children are part of the school. To receive an award for doing something I love is incredible.
