What do you enjoy most about teaching?Sharing my passion for food, watching a student discover new flavors and gain confidence in the kitchen is incredibly gratifying

What do you find the most challenging about teaching? Having enough time to master skills and execute with precision especially considering each students learns at different paces.

Best tip for new teachers: Foster a classroom culture where students feel comfortable expressing thoughts, sharing differences and feel loved and accepted.

Best tip for career teachers: Practice gratitude, appreciate others and find your people in the building

Favorite piece of advice for students: Pay attention to the details, they matter! Practice, practice, practice! Call me. Stay humble. Enjoy what you do.

What being a Gold Star Teacher means to you: It validates the countless hours I spend preparing for students and events. It is a milestone celebration of the impact that I hope that I have had on my students. I am so grateful and humbled by this honor.
