At the McElroy Trust we partner with nonprofit and public organizations to create inspirational and transformational experiences for young people in northeastern Iowa.

Announcements and Updates:

• January 15, 2012. Beginning in 2012 the McElroy Trust has initiated a new grant making process. The changes are designed to make application to the McElroy Trust simpler and easier. We welcome your questions and feedback.
• January 15, 2012. Please review the request guidelines. Changes for 2012 have been noted. Deadlines will remain the same in 2012.
• February 1, 2012. Nominate a Black Hawk County teacher for the Gold Star Award for Outstanding Teaching.
• March 1, 2012. Deadline to submit a request for grant funding.
• March 1, 2012. Last day to nominate a teacher for the Gold Star Award for Outstanding Teaching.
• March 10 – 18, 2012. World’s Greatest Spring Break for Kids in downtown Waterloo. Admission $1 at local venues.
